Pop music diva Janet Jackson is bringing JANET, as an epic two-part, four-hour documentary series to Lifetime and A&E. The release will coincide with the icon’s 40th anniversary of her debut album, Janet Jackson.

Jackson, will discuss some controversial and somber aspects of her life, including the untimely passing of her iconic brother and megastar Michael Jackson, as well as her infamous Super Bowl performance with Justin Timberlake, and how the backlash of the wardrobe malfunction leads to her being blacklisted by the entertainment industry for years. Jackson will also recall happier instances of her life, including her experience with motherhood. Fans will also have access to never-before-seen home videos, and archival content from Jackson’s storied life. The documentary will air in early 2022 on A&E and Lifetime.
